Clinical EMPLOYMENT
LPCC, PhD, or LISW Needed:
EMERGE has an immediate opening for 1 full-time or 2 part-time Ohio Independently Licensed Counselors, Psychologists, or LISWs who are passionate about working with Adults and Young Adults to join our growing multi-site team of 36 clinicians at our Main Campus in Akron, OH.
Successful candidates will have the following required skills:
-A Minimum of 8 years experience in working with trauma and high risk populations and experience in using EMDR, DBT, and Expressive Arts Techniques with this population.
-Experience in the integration of the Christian Faith in counseling.
-Experience using IFS in the treatment process.
-Capable of independence in clinical work and a desire to collaborate in a team environment.
-Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records: Current system is CareLogic.

b. Supervision/ supervisory needs
c. Intended start and finish date of internship
d. Population and clinical interests
i. Children, adolescents, adults, couples families
ii. i.e. depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, etc.

a. What reasons would you give to show the readiness of this applicant for their practicum/internship?

Please note-- Each degree and Graduate program has different requirements for supervision. We have LPCC-S and LISW-S available to do supervision or a PhD. Other supervision needs may not be able to be met by our clinical team at this time.

Volunteer
Our volunteer program has blessed EMERGE with hundreds of service hours every year. This help has provided us with the extra hands to keep up with the continual needs of our growing ministry. EMERGE appreciates the generous service of people who wish to volunteer. Their commitment allows us to complete our mission of providing help for the healthy and hope for the hurting.
Opportunities are available for those interested! We have something for everyone. Projects are available for groups or individuals and projects that are completed in a day, or weekly projects and everything in between.
If your volunteering is part of a school requirement please send us the appropriate information requested below---if not, please simply send us a email stating your reasons for wanting to volunteer with a statement of faith.
